We have spent the last days feeling overwhelmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have you ever felt this way?<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

It seems like there is always so much to do, but we never get the right time to do it all. And the focus is also hard to achieve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And with this coming Lent period, it seems that we feel even more this pressure of time and concern to make a commitment to a Lenten sacrifice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is why we have worked on this daily practice guide that we have decided to share. Because we think you can benefit too: 40 activities for Lent for Catholic Families.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Spend less hours in front of the TV or Internet<\/li>
  2. Greet someone you do not know (a “hello” will be enough)<\/li>
  3. Donate food to an institution<\/li>
  4. Go to church<\/li>
  5. Pray for good things<\/li>
  6. Visit an old friend<\/li>
  7. Cook a traditional meal this time of year<\/li>
  8. Make a donation<\/li>
  9. Plan a simple meal with your family<\/li>
  10. Pray for the children of your religious community<\/li>
  11. Draw up a creative project that glorifies these days (a drawing, a painting,…)<\/li>
  12. Send an encouragement card to your community members<\/li>
  13. Pray for peace in the world<\/li>
  14. Ask forgiveness for someone<\/li>
  15. Not only on Fridays, but another day too: dispense with your favorite foods (sweets, cakes, meat,…)<\/li>
  16. Pray for childrens<\/li>
  17. Light a candle<\/li>
  18. Volunteer yourself<\/li>
  19. Clean your desk or workspace without complaining<\/li>
  20. Memorize a prayer you have already forgotten<\/li>
  21. Surprise someone<\/li>
  22. Pray the rosary<\/li>
  23. Donate a bag of things you no longer use or need<\/li>
  24. Say “Thanks” to someone who is an inspiration to you.<\/li>
  25. Read a book<\/li>
  26. Listen to music while performing your tasks<\/li>
  27. Go outside<\/li>
  28. Pray for the world<\/li>
  29. Make some Easter cakes<\/li>
  30. Research on a Catholic religious figure that you do not know<\/li>
  31. Workout<\/li>
  32. Clear your mind from negative thoughts<\/li>
  33. Think of something you CAN do to save the planet.<\/li>
  34. Go to church<\/li>
  35. Pray for Pope Francis<\/li>
  36. Watch a movie with your family<\/li>
  37. No candies. Just today<\/li>
  38. Read a chapter of the Bible<\/li>
  39. Go to the religious ceremonies of Holy Week<\/li>
  40. Go to a religious Eucharist<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
